I was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on September 30, 1973, as the only son of a dedicated single mother. My upbringing was shaped by transitions between Baltimore City and Baltimore County. From ages 6 to 7, I lived in Towson, Maryland, where I attended Stonely Elementary. At 7, I briefly moved to Montgomery County for a year before returning to Baltimore County from ages 8 to 12, attending Dumbarton Middle and Loch Raven Middle School.

At age 12, I began my formative years in Baltimore City, living in the Edmonson Village community and navigating life on its streets until I was 23. During this period, I attended West Baltimore Middle (formerly Rock Glen) before moving on to Lake Clifton Eastern High School, where my middle school focus on business administration began influencing my entrepreneurial aspirations.

My professional journey has been diverse and enriching. Early roles included retail positions at Phillips Harbor Place and Mount Holly Food Market. I also explored travel and the music industry, working with Consumer Savings Travel Network and Elmeria Records, respectively, which deepened my understanding of customer engagement and creative industries. Additionally, I gained valuable culinary skills as a line and prep cook with Marriott and Wyndham and later managed operations as a store manager for Papa John’s.

My career further extended into the entertainment industry, collaborating with renowned brands like World Star Hip Hop, Hip Hop Foundry, Street Rated, and Shadyville Entertainment (DJ Whoo Kid), where I honed my creative and networking skills.

In recent years, I found fulfillment in serving as an administrative clerk for the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census. This role allowed me to contribute to my country while enjoying meaningful, patriotic work. Additionally, I supported continuing education by helping develop an LMS platform for Nurse Ed 101.

Entrepreneurship has been a central theme in my life. My first venture, Autumn Business Venture Investment Corporation, laid the foundation for subsequent initiatives, including KA Productions and Higher-Level Communications. My proudest achievement is the establishment of Terry Investment Group (TIG), a multifaceted enterprise encompassing TIG Tax Services, TIG Tax Pros, TIG Realty Management, and several social media influencer brands.

Above all, my greatest accomplishment is being a father to two amazing daughters, born in 1995 and 2008. Their growth and successes bring me immense pride and inspire me to continue building a legacy of resilience and innovation for future generations.

My journey, marked by challenges and triumphs, reflects adaptability, perseverance, and a commitment to personal growth. Through every experience, I have stayed grounded in my values, striving to leave a meaningful impact on my community and beyond.
